Haul out and maintenance

Monday morning dawned with light winds and cloudy skies as we headed back up to the boat to get her hauled out early. With a bit of messing about we managed to get her lined up for the crane and then we were lifted out and for the first time, we got to see DT's pretty undersides. They were much cleaner than we expected and at was great to get in and inspect her.
For the next three days Heidi and Lottie worked feverishly cleaning and polishing the top sides and checking the engine whilst we also got a new seacock for the engine, the bottom painted and new zincs ahead of our trip. In addition we go the prop and rudder checked over with both getting a clean bill of health
