Today was our last day before truly setting off on our grand adventure. We had done a Costco run on Friday and with the car stocked full of tins and pasta we headed back to the boat at Todd Inlet. We of course hadn't done the sensible thing of having the boat moored for the provisioning and so instead we had to cart all our supplies down the 1km path to the beach, then load up and transport everything to the boat via the dinghy. This gave us plenty of exercise and wasn't helped when we accidentally left the car keys on the boat (twice) meaning we had to go back for them and also accidentally leaving the outboard engine key in the car! We certainly got our steps in!

After another two trips into Victoria we finally had everything on board. We waved goodbye to Lottie and then settled in, once we had found homes for all the stuff!!

We had a pleasant evening before turning in with not a little trepidation as tomorrow would be the start of the real adventure!
